Основные научные положения, сформулированные автором на основании проведенных исследований:
  1. Иммунно-воспалительные реакции в атеросклерозе связаны с изменениями клеточной композиции клеток интимы и их фенотипической модуляцией.
  2. В интиме сосудистой стенки артерий человека существует сложная система межклеточных взаимодействий, опосредованная присутствием в интиме дендритных клеток.
  3. Участки артерий, предрасположенные к развитию атеросклеротических поражений, характеризуются нарушением системы межклеточных взаимодействий.
  4. Иммунно-воспалительные реакции, опосредованные активированными дендритными клетками, играют ключевую роль в инициации самых ранних этапов развития атеросклеротических поражений.
  5. Иммунно-воспалительные реакции, опосредованные активированными дендритными клетками, вовлечены в прогрессирование атеросклероза.
  6. Прогрессирование атеросклеротических поражений является результатом нарушения межклеточных взаимодействий и сопровождается изменением морфофункциональных свойств клеточных элементов интимы.
